The Justice League is a name used by various superhero teams over the years. Typically, it it the world's premier superhero team, and features Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman and Martian Manhuter among its members. The Justice League may often be known as te Justice League of America, and it was under this name that the team first appeared in The Brave and the Bold #28 in February 1960. The Justice League has appeared in multiple cartoons, the most notable of which was the DCAU cartoons "Justice League" and "Justice League Unlimited", which ran from 2001-2006 and was a direct continuation of the popular Batman: The Animated Series and Superman: The Animated Series catroons that preceded it.

Legends of the DC UniverseEdit

In Legends of the DC Universe, the Justice League is a modern revival of the 1970s Justice Society. Originally founded in 2014 by Green Lantern John Stewart, Black Canary, the Flash(Barry Allen and the Martian Manhunter, it was refounde in 2019 by Green Lantern Hal Jordan and the Black Canary to defeat the god-like Titus. The expanded team includes Jordan and Black Canary, as well as the Martian Manhunter, new Flash Wally West, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, Aquaman, Hawkman, Hawkgirl and the Atom. By 2020, there are two Justice Leagues. The primary one is the Justice Leage of America, led by Superman and including Green Lantern John Stewart, the Flash, Hawkman, Atom, Steel, Nightwing and Power Girl, with King Faraday as their government liason.
